Of Blizzards (Real ones and Dairy Queen ones)

Lately, it's been really snowy here in South Bend. I think there's been more than a foot of snow. I never really knew how annoying it is to scrape ice and snow off of a car everytime you try to drive it. Well now I know. My windshield wiper actually got frozen once and I was freaking out because I still had some snow on my windshield. I stopped on the side of the road and had to really scrape off the ice that was there. That was an interesting experience.

Driving in the snow is also quite a challenge. I got my first taste of that when I drove from Chicago to South Bend. Well I drove only 30 minutes of it since Krista covered the first parts. It was pretty challenging and I couldn't see too much of the road. I'm glad that we got back safely. Now though, I've driven in the snow a good amount and I think I'm more comfortable now and can drive through it. Pretty challenging though if you don't have the experience.

The newspaper had said it was going to be as low as -13 one of these nights. I hope that it's not that cold...
