So the other night, Krista and I decided to relax and go off campus for awhile. We decided we wanted to try something different and we settled on Bob Evans. Now we have both never gone to this restaurant and so when we walked in we were pretty impressed by the scenery in the place. Now there's something about the name of this restaurant that screams chicken to me. Like lots and lots of rotisserie chicken. However, this is not the case and we found out that their specialty seemed to be breakfast foods.
We found out the food there was pretty darn amazing. I had a breakfast meal and I swear, the bacon did not look like it had any grease in it at all. The pancakes were delicious but that could just be from me not having any in such a long time. Krista had a chicken pot pie (the last one they had) and even though I don't like pot pies in general because I've only eaten the frozen variety, I tasted it and it was really good. The crust was especially good. It was also good price wise because for our meal it was only about $16. Not bad at all. She also had a mocha chocolate drink or something like that. It was really good too and amazing that it had free refills. Krista also bought a duck from the store that had fiber optics in it and lit up when it constantly had something touching the bottom part of it. She was very entertained with that especially when we went outside and braved the cold and foot of snow on the ground to walk to the bowling alley.
We found out that we had gone on the correct day at the bowling alley because it was college night there. That meant $7.95 for all you can bowl for 4 hours including shoes. That is a ridiculous deal and Krista and I took advantage of that. We must have bowled like 7 games, it was really, really fun for the both of us. There were some annoying people that came and went and that screamed like idiots sometimes but other than that it was a very pleasant trip indeed. I played the deal or no deal game they had in there and i had to choose between 1 ticket and 200 tickets since i was down to my last suitcase. i could've made a deal for 100 tickets but I'm a risk taker. I ended up getting 1 ticket haha.
Overall, it was a great night and tons of fun. I want to do that more often during this semester!
